Jazmin (Jazz) Headley is a 11-year old Canadian singer, actor, and voice over artist. When she’s not engaged in her studies as a fourth grade student in Mississauga, you can find her doing what she loves: singing, dancing, and acting. Her next big project will be as part of the cast of the new upcoming CBC Kids Series, Ukulele U, which premiers on CBC TV. Jazmin continues to use her talent in television series, and has been a previous ambassador of the YouTube web series Mission Bonita.
As an aspiring songwriter, Jazmin was inspired to write her first song as a tribute to George Floyd following his death, after Black Lives Matter protests were sparked around the globe. Since then she has released 3 singles on various streaming platforms.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, Jazz decided to celebrate her birthday every year as a gift of giving. For her 9th birthday, Jazmin helped raise more than $1200 for Sick Kids Hospital through her line of T-shirts sales to bring awareness for mental health issues. Jazmin is a Mission Bonita ambassador who is committed to living her best life and being an inspiration and mental health advocate for kids everywhere. She raises funds for Sick Kids by selling her journals and positive mental health quotes on her stylish t- shirts, and she has sent wheelchairs to those in need in the Caribbean. Jazmin has opened a library for young readers called “Jazmin’s Corner” in the May Pen hospital in Jamaica, and her goal is to put one Corner in every hospital on the island of Jamaica. Jazmin has also been the Youth Ambassador for the Jamaican Poetry Festival for 3 years now.
Jazmin aims to spread a message of positivity and hope through her music and efforts in her community.
